School Emos are coming out of the Vault!

For followers of http://simplybstamps.net/ who have been sad to see some of their favourite digis disappear before you had a chance to buy them, you are in LUCK!!!! Betty is going to be bringing some of the favourites back as limited re- releases....yes, they are coming out of the vault. The first to make a comeback are the School Emos. They are available as a bundle.
I have chosen two of these to make up into cards today.

My first card uses the image Art Lovin Betty. The new version also has a caption. I am thinking this one will come in handy for my arty daughter and her like minded friends.
Copic colours used:
Skin- E51, E53, E93 Lips- R46
Hair- E33, E37, E18, E59
Shirt- 0, R46, V17, V09

The bats were from an IOP set of Halloween dies. Kaisercraft bling in black and the purple backing paper has been embossed using a Sizzix die.

This next image is Math is Confusing Millar. I used some Kaisercraft paper to make this card and then an assortment of arrows, a button and bottle cap from my stash. The curved arrow was a white fabric one from Studio Calico. I coloured it using my Copics to match Betty's image.

I have had so much fun creating a set of Asian influenced cards using the fabulous Geisha digis from Simply Betty Stamps  http://simplybstamps.net/ . They are a new release today and I am sure everyone is going to want to snap them up. I already have another set printed off to experiment with...Betty has given out some tips on colouring the images faces different ways and I am going to experiment with some new skin tones.
My papers for all the cards today are from 'Bird Song' by Graphic 45 (I have had this one for a few years now and finally used some of the pad...I have a sad addiction to G45 papers and am happy just looking at my stash!)

The flowers are a mixture of fussy cut cherry blossoms and mulberry flowers. In the background is white lace and some Bella bling cut to fill the background. Spica pen is used to add some sparkle to the eyelids. The paper is distressed with Vintage Photo distress stain.

I used pliers to cut the loop from the top of my charms before attaching them to the card with glue. The bling on this card was from Portocraft and the Martha Stewart punch I used in the background is called 'Bangle Chain'. All flowers were from my stash.

New Commission G cards- Simply Betty Stamps

There is a brilliant new release of Commissions over at http://simplybstamps.net/  today. All of the design team have coloured in some of these ready for the release and of course there was Victorian Vicky that I coloured earlier in the week.

Tree Day
This image reminded me of my trip to England last year where I visited a National Trust park and did hug a big Oak tree and made my Mum, Aunty and Uncle do the same for a photo.

Sing Out
I really loved colouring this one. I know this image is going to be used many times.

My apologies to people using my colour ideas but for this one I have put my list down SOMEWHERE!! I will try and locate them and add the details in later. In the meantime I am going to say you are going to love the images from Betty that will be on here tomorrow SO much and I have included all of the details there.
Please stop by simplybettystamps.blogspot.com
and see everybody's great creations using the Commission G digis.

Victorian Vicky

Today I have a little card for Vicky using the image of her drawn up by Betty. Betty is very talented at creating commission pieces for people and this image is part of the new Commission G set that will soon be released at http://simplybstamps.net/ .

I coloured the image using the following Copic markers:
Skin: E50, E51, E21, E93
Hair: YR23, YR18, E29, E39
Dress: G20, G07, G24, T4, V06, V09

I used Spellbinders dies to cut out the frame for the picture and sentiment.
Martha Stewart punches were used for the lacy border (Garden Gate) and sprig.
Other embellishment were Mulberry Paper flowers from my stash and purple Portocraft bling.
All paper pieces were distressed using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.
Now for the card to arrive across the sea via snail mail!
Have a fantastic day, Vicky and enjoy looking at all your cards!
