Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge- Polkadoodles

It has been ages since I attempted a tic-tac- toe craft challenge. I forgot how much fun they are. This fortnight at Polkadoodles you have the chance to create something using the grid on the challenge blog here.

I have used the Serenity Collection to create my card (wings). You can find the collection here if you like the digi and papers I have used .
The digi is available as a stand alone too here.
The flowers have little mushroom charms amongst them- I simply snipped off the loops at the top.
Lots of dies in the background including:
Tattered Lace-Ornate Leaves
Cheery Lynn- Doiley
Memory Box- Butterflies
I have used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink on the edges of the paper and coloured the image using Copic markers.
As a final touch the image has Waterfall Stickles on her wings and the pink pearls add a touch of bling as well as echoing the polkadots in the background paper.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get time to join in the challenge...I always love seeing the entries and get lots of good ideas from other people's creations.
Happy creating, Jackie x

The new challenge at Polkadoodles is 'Lucky Green' and with the brilliant new Sticks and Bones collection I instantly thought of dinosaurs. The digi I used for my card is available here or to get lots of digis, papers and sentiments there is the complete collection at a great price. It is available as a CD or as an instant download. You will find it here.
I coloured my image using the following Copic markers:
E53, W2, E04, E27, E35,YG11,YG61, YG63, G94
Before cutting it out and foam mounting it in the photo frame.
The sentiment, photo frame and paper are all from the Sticks and Bones collection.

What will you make for the challenge?
Thanks for stopping by, Jackie x

Bizzy Becs- February

This is my first post as part of Bizzy Bec's design team. I have had a play with a collection of rubber stamps from Darkroom Door called Wildflowers Vol 2.
I created the background using distress stains and a few spritzes of water on a craft mat before smooshing a piece of watercolour paper in the mixture.
After drying with a heat gun I stamped the flowers to create layers using Library Green Archival Ink and then Black Archival Ink in the foreground.
The die used behind the words is by Crafts Too and is available in Bizzy Bec's store here.

There are heaps of wonderful dies and stamps available at the store.
Thanks for stopping by and happy creating,
Jackie x
